dc.description.abstract | In scientific experiments there are an increasing usage of cameras, along with other instruments, to observe parameters of physical processes. In this thesis, we will discuss how a microcontroller (ATMEL ATmega 324 PA) can be used to control the operation temperature in a camera. It will be discussed why this control of temperature can be useful for the quality of the pictures. Since this thesis is a practical type, we will develop an active cooling system that handles the temperature control. The thesis will include descriptions of these hardwares, which has been developed to achieve this cooling. When we use cameras in scientific experiments we rely on strict and accurate time control of exposure time in the camera. We will make a trigger system to check the stability and precision of three different trigger sources. | en |
