Effect of Therapeutic Drug Monitoring on Adherence and Blood Pressure: A Multicenter Randomized Clinical Trial
(Journal article; Tidsskriftartikkel; Peer reviewed, 2024-01-07)BACKGROUND - Drug concentration in blood or urine is an acknowledged method to detect nonadherence. Observational studies suggest that informing patients about low or absent serum drug levels improves blood pressure (BP). We performed a multicenter randomized clinical trial to test the hypothesis that therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM) could improve drug adherence and BP in patients with uncontrolled ... -
Photosynthetic light requirement near the theoretical minimum detected in Arctic microalgae
(Journal article; Tidsskriftartikkel; Peer reviewed, 2024-09-04)Photosynthesis is one of the most important biological processes on Earth, providing the main source of bioavailable energy, carbon, and oxygen via the use of sunlight. Despite this importance, the minimum light level sustaining photosynthesis and net growth of primary producers in the global ocean is still unknown. Here, we present measurements from the MOSAiC field campaign in the central Arctic ... -

I examine how environmental NGOs and private mining contractors attempt to sway one narrow, but existential, part of the ISA’s draft exploitation regulations between ... -
Martingale Hardy Spaces and Some New Weighted Maximal Operators of Fejér Means of Walsh–Fourier Series
(Journal article; Tidsskriftartikkel; Peer reviewed, 2023-10-19)In this paper, we introduce some new weighted maximal operators of the Fejér means of the Walsh–Fourier series. We prove that for some “optimal” weights, these new operators indeed are bounded from the martingale Hardy space Hp(G)to the Lebesgue space Lp(G), for 0 < p < 1/2. Moreover, we also prove sharpness of this result. As a consequence, we obtain some new and well-known ... -
